Do I need a reservation to order food from The Woolly Pig?

Your are more than welcome to just walk-in and order food to any table at The Egremont, but reservations are highly recommended espically on Sundays to guarantee a table.

How do I book a table?

You can book a table directly via our website. If you navigate to the top of any page on our website, then click on the "Book Now" button, you will be taken straight to our booking page. Follow the instructions on screen.You can also book a table via the link in our Instagram bio. You can also book a table in person. If you are in The Egremont, speak to a member of the pub staff and they will sort your booking out for you.

Can you accommodate large groups?

We can easily accommodate any group of up to 8 guests and is bookable via our website. If you require a table for 9 or more guests, navigate to the top of any page on our website and click the "Contact Us" button. Fill in the form, and we will respond as fast as we can to accommodate your booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

We please ask that you cancel your booking as soon as you know that you and your guests won't be able to attend. There is no penalty if you have to cancel your booking.

Is there a time limit on tables?

Accepted Answer

If you book a table for the Small and Large plates menu, Wednesday thru Friday, there is no time limit on your table.  If you book a table for the Small and Large plates menu on a Saturday, you have the table for the full duration of Lunch Service if you book for lunch.  If you book for Dinner, you have the table for the full duration of Dinner Service. If you book for Sunday Lunch, there is a 2 hour time limit on your booking, from the time of your booking, regardless if you are late to arrive.

How far in advance can guests book a table?

For the Small and Large Plates Menu and the Sunday Roast Menu, guests can book up to 3 months in advance. For the Christmas Menu,  there is no time limit for how in advance you can book a table for your party. If you wish to hire out part or all of The Egremont pub, and for The Woolly Pig to cater for your party, please send us an email to inquire, there is no time limit for how in advance you can inquire about.
